SIGHT award to SLU/UU researcher


Johanna Lindahl, veterinary epidemiology researcher at SLU and UU, receives the SIGHT award for her scientific contribution in the area of global health.

Johanna Lindahl’s research focuses on human and animal interaction and antibiotic resistance. She is affiliated with the Department of Clinical Sciences, SLU, and Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology, UU, and is based at the International Livestock Research Institute in Kenya.

The SIGHT award was instituted with the support from the Einhorn family. Johanna Lindahl will receive the award and SEK 100 000 on 25 November, at the Voices 4 Health concert in Stockholm. The decision on awardee for the SIGHT Award 2018 was taken by the board of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
