UU and SLU in Uppsala Health Summit 2018

This year’s Health Summit focuses on cancer care. UU and SLU researchers are members of the programme committee and act as responsible for workshops.

Uppsala Health Summit is a recurring international policy arena for dialogue on challenges for health and healthcare, and how we can overcome them. It was founded by Uppsala University, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala County Council, City of Uppsala and the network Worldclass Uppsala. The first, inaugural, summit took place in 2014.

The theme for the 2018 summit is Care for Cancer. There will be workshops focusing on for instance biomarkers (responsible: Tobias Sjöblom, UU, Henrik Rönnberg, SLU), biobanking (responsible: Erik Bongcam Rudloff, Tomas Klingström, SLU), and physical exercise in cancer care (responsible: Ingrid Demmelmaier, Birgitta Johansson, Karin Nordin, UU).
