Below we have listed examples of facilities and equipment
available at SLU and UU.  

A core facility for microscopy, flow cytometery and image analysis.

Cells for Life Platform
A state-of-the-art facility for the study of reproductive cells and infections.

Confocal Microscopy Platform
The confocal microscopy platform provides access to laser scanning microscopes.

Hedenstierna Laboratory
Translational laboratory for studies and interventions involving large animals, e.g. surgery, transplantations, respiratory research, imaging and pharmacokinetic studies.

Security lab for studies on BSL3 organisms, e.g. zoonotic viruses and human pathogens.

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Mass Spectroscopy (MS) infrastructure
Structural analysis and metabolomics studies by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.

Preclinical PET-MRI platform
The facility has a fully equipped preclinical laboratory with three small animal scanners: PET-MRI, SPECT-CT and PET-SPECT-CT. There is also a radiochemistry laboratory and a cell lab.

A national center for molecular biosciences with focus on health and environmental research. The centre gathers a large number of infrastructure services in Uppsala and in the rest of Sweden.

SLU Developmental Biology Platform
A platform for production of embryos in the zebrafish, xenopus frog, cow, pig, cat and lymnaea snail

Uppsala Biobank
An infrastructure for medical research and a center of competence for biobank related matters.

The 3D-printing service specialises in the design and fabrication of custom-made pieces for use in biomedical research laboratories and in health care.

Uppsala University Behavioral Facility (UUBF)
A platform for behavioral testing of mouse, rat and fish.
