Research collaboration

Meeting package
One of U-Share’s goals is to stimulate research collaboration between the universities e.g. by increasing mobility, and creating and encouraging network activities. To this end we offer administrative and financial support for arranging workshops or small meetings with researchers from both universities.
Contact the project coordinators for more information.
U-Share-funded collaboration projects
Through U-Share, three projects, two at SLU and one at UU, have been granted funding. The projects involve a principal investigator at one university and a postdoc with a PhD degree from the other.

On-going collaborative research
There are several on-going projects, in different research fields, were UU and SLU researchers work together. Collaboration networks include One Health Sweden, CRU, Uppsala Antibiotic Center (UAC) and Uppsala Diabetes Centre (UDC). The Dog Genetics group have an extensive collaboration in the field of animal genetics. A collaborative project funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation aims to investigate how mast cells can be used as future targets for asthma therapy and diagnosis.
More information about these collaborative efforts can be found via the links below.
